[ Summary ] |
We performed laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC) on two patients who were under continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) associated with gallstone and chronic cholecystitis. Both patients could continue CAPD postoperatively for five-years-and-one-month and one-year-and-two-months respectively. We recommend laparoscopic cholecystectomy as an important therapeutic choice for CAPD patients with symptomatic gallstone disease and/or cholecystitis. |
