Several strategies with enhanced internal filtration have been proposed to increase dialysis efficiency. However, the exact amount of internal filtration is not known. We computed backfiltration coefficient required for an internal filtration design from the experiment by the cow blood system, and tried the model calculation with more high accuracy. Moreover, the validity of this modeling was verified using dialyzer which lengthened effective length about 6cm. Since this model can evaluate internal filtration easily, it is considered to be useful. |
