| [ Summary ] | Pressure sensors of hemodialysis machines are using with diffusion type semi-conductor pressure sensors and capacitance type pressure sensors. Monitoring of pressure is necessary in the vinous-chamber of the blood tube, and the dialysate. In order to achieve safety in hemodialysis therapy, the upper limit of pressure in the vinous-chamber is set at the 50mmHg; the lower limit is 20mmHg. The limit for dialysate pressure is +-50mmHg. It is necessary to regularly maintain this equipment to maintain the performance of pressure sensors. The attachment of protectors to the pressure port is important for the prevention of infection through the blood. |
