[ Summary ] For solute transport treatment, modeling is a very effective measure, being an engineering technique for the analysis and evaluation of technical and medical data, and making decisions to guide medical care. It is also useful for the elucidation of the mechanisms of solute transport phenomena, until quantitative study is possible. By positively introducing modeling techniques, which are old in the field of the pharmacokinetics, into the hemodialysis therapy, treatment accuracy increases and will become a plus for dialysis patients.
