[ Summary ] An assistant nurse is a person who assists the nurse according to the nurse's guidance and supervision. The name, number and details of duties of the assistant nurse differ in various institutions. Since no qualifications are niques concerning dialysis medical care, changing of bed sheets, helping patients eat etc. Related to the patient's daily life, overall duties to prepare the environment for nursing, duties related to medical examinations such as infection prevention, etc. This education must also instill in the assistant nurse the importance of paying the utmost care to maintain the patient's privacy and safety to prevent accidents when performing his/her duties. Further, this education must teach the assistant nurse to observe disciplines at the work site, be mindful of proper personal grooming and manner of speech, and to acquire the ability to respond in a way that will make the patient will feel secure. Nurses can also help by educating assistant nurses. Quality medical care, when using dialysis will be obtained only when people in all job types fulfill their duties.
