[ Summary ] In dialysis care, clinical engineers should play a role in providing the most efficient and safe dialysis sessions personalized to each patient from the aspects of their physical and biochemical status, present illness and complications. To do so, They need to maintain a variety of machines in dialysis units. In addition, they should participate in the education of other staff members in the units, especially for risk management of accidents during dialysis sessions. As an authorized member of a team caring for dialysis patients, they must endeavor to improve the quality of each dialysis session and promote safety, in concert with the other members.
