[ Summary ] Dialysis patients are treated by a medical team, not by a doctor alone, which consists of a variety of specialists. Doctors, in the medical team, are required to have good medical knowledge, skilful hand, and also leadership to manage the team. Nurses, clinical engineers, pharmacists, dietitians and social workers have their own roles designate by the doctor and the role of each member should be under stood by everyone. In mother hospitals, close communication with other departments is important for efficient treatment of dialysis complications.
