| [ Summary ] | This paper outlines the parameters of a Solution Focused Nursing Model for Dialysis (SFND-model). The SFND model consists of the following; 1 The patient is by himself/herself a self-regulationary/management system. 2 Sometimes a patient receiving dialysis has more knowledge and better self-nursing tecniques than does the nurse. 3 Nursing for such a patient requires the meta nursing for such a self-nursing. 4 We can consider such a system to be a meta management system for patient self-management. 5 We can say metaphoricaly the following; when patiens have solutions, even partial ones, nurses should work to develop them. | |
