| [ Summary ] | Many diabetic hemodialysis patients have proliferative diabetic retinopathy, diabetic maculopathy, ischemic optic neuropathy, and/or rubeotic glaucoma. Proliferative diabetic retinopathy in hemodialysis patients may easily become burn out retinopathy within two years. Macuropathy in hemodialysis patients has a tendency to disapper in a short period. Diabetic hemodialysis patients must receive care for ophthalmic complications. |
