[ Summary ] Blood purification therapies such as hemodialysis (HD), hemofiltration (HF), hemodiafiltration (HDF), cotinuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), plasmapheresis, immunoadsorption therapies, etc. have been developed. Teamwork by doctors, and nurses and clinical engineering technicians (CET) is required for these treatments. CET especially plays an important role in choosing the mode and determining the operating conditions for these treatments. In order to accomplish these therapies, medical professionals should obtain information on new products and technologies and routinely study them.
