[ Summary ] Chronic hemodialysis patients develop abnormally weak bones. They often have mild pain and disability and are sometimes asymptomatic.
Diagnosis on the basis of initial, plain radiographs was sometimes difficult and easily missed. Even in minor trauma, we must highly suspect fractures, when the patient demonstrates severe local tenderness.
