[ Summary ] Indications and therapeutic techniques for apheresis therapy have been widely disseminated in recent years. To provide adequate nursing care for apheresis patients, the nursing staff must fully understand the pathophysiology of targeting disorders and the therapeutic mechanism of apheresis therapy. With this full understanding, the nursing staff should give a great deal of assistance to patients to avoid anxiety about therapy, and to receive safe, comfortable treatment and to have hope for their future. It is also necessary for the nursing staff to cooperate with other medical workers to achieve adequate clinical effects apheresis therapy.
