[ Summary ] Today, with the increase in the number of long-term dialysis patients, their advancing age, and the emergence of complications, etc, individual care is needed for all kinds of patients, and improvements in the quality of dialysis nursing are in demand. The question is how exactly does the nursing process unfold and how is support provided. The gathering of information, the first step in the nursing process, is indispensable in order to clarify nursing issues. Given the very busy situation in a dialysis center, in order to effectively collect information, the tools to put together such information from the nurse's standpoint must be available so that all of the information on patients, without exception, is easily analyzed. In the present study, we introduce the actual use of our hospital database, which has been a process of repeated trial and error.
