[ Summary ] Gathering information from patients is of basic importance in understanding and taking care of their problems. However if nurses, whose career and ability vary, ask questions from their individual point of view, it may lead incorrect interpretation of those health problems. For this reason our hospital has a standardized database, but it is composed of information from the larger, general point of view. It is still necessary to have an individual viewpoint on the division basis, taking into account the different character is tics and duration of diseases. In this study, considering the social, somatic, and mental characteristics of patients with kidney disease, we construct our own database, which comprises several important items for our educational program.
