[ Summary ] In this decade, medical care has taken great strides. At the same time, the diversity of patient's demands on medical staffs have become greater and more complex. In order to achieve a higher quality of medical care, corresponding to various patient's needs, we need to efficiently arrange our work environment to perform our duties effectively.
In this report we noted the changes in the quantity of nursing necessary hemodialytic(HD) therapy, since the introduction of computerized HD management systems. The volume of our work in HD therapy was investigated. We were able to take more time for other nursing duties owing to the practical application of the computerized system, which eliminated the need for recording the patient's condition or other routine work.
In conclusion, we would be able to improve the quality and quantity of HD nursing by using the computerized management system. It is obvious that an integrated team working with clinical engineers will produce suitable HD nursing, including the management of patient's basic information and related data.
