Daily home hemodialysis is one of strategies for treatment of end-stage renal disease. This method utilizes the good points of home hemodialysis that the increase of dialysis frequency will not lose time of patients for at tending hospital. Italian investigators reported that DHHD was asymptomatic during hemodialysis, along with improved renal anemia, ameliorated hypertension, and increased appetite and body weight. Further improvements of DHHD machines must be made in order for them to be accepted as a modality for ESRD. |
