| [ Summary ] | Even though our zoom function is a special feature, zoom endoscopes need to be as user friendly as conventional endoscopes. We, at PENTAX, believe that specifications such as maneuverability, short distal rigid section, observation area and depth of viewing field should be competitive with conventional endoscopes. Our video system is exactly the same as those in conventional endoscopes. Our zoom function is controlled by a knob on the control handle and is easily operated. The mechanical characteristics of the flexible insertion tube, which allows for maneuverability, is competitive with conventional endoscopes. The wide-angle view is the same as conventional models. We continue to develop zoom endoscopes using the same concepts of excellance for each new generation of product. |
