| [ Summary ] | EBD has emerged as an alternative to surgery and has been proven effective for the treatment of small intestinal strictures in CD. EBD is therefore among the recommended procedures for intestinal strictures in the current CD practice guidelines. However, procedures are not always successful because of bending or adhesions caused by chronic inflammation or postoperative structural changes. Herein, we describe our approaches to overcome technical difficulties. | |
