[ Summary ] Closure of a post-endoscopic submucosal dissection ulcer using a ring-clip is useful for preventing complications from colorectal endoscopic submucosal dissection. However, complete closure of a large post-endoscopic submucosal dissection ulcer is not easy. We have been performing closure of post-endoscopic submucosal dissection ulcer using our original handmade ring-clips. Although closure of submucosal dissection ulcer is not necessary in all cases, it is reassuring to have a method for closure of ulcers as an option in situations in which it is feared that complications may occur.
