[ Summary ] |
Surveillance for colorectal endoscopic neoplasia detection and management is used for inflammatory bowel disease patients (SCENIC). The international consensus statement refers to colonoscopic surveillance methods and therapy for ulcerative colitis-associated neoplasia (UCAN). When performing surveillance, chromoendoscopy is recommended rather than narrow-band imaging. After complete removal of endoscopically resectable UCAN, surveillance colonoscopy is suggested rather than colectomy. |
