[ Summary ] |
The number of colorectal cancer cases is rapidly increasing in Japan. The importance of colonoscopy is indicated by the increased number of colorectal cancer cases. Additionally, large tumors may be resected with endoscopic surgery. During follow-up periods, interval cancer is rarely observed. In this report, we relate a case involving interval cancer 15 mm in size in the ascending colon, which exhibited IIa+IIc morphology and poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma in the area of deepest invasion. |
