| [ Summary ] | The Resect and Discard strategy is a promising proposal, because of the possibility to reduce medical expenses. However it also has limitations, which include the possibility of discarding small invasive cancer samples and neglecting advanced histology. We proposed the "DISCARD-ME" policy, which is a new resect and discard strategy using magnifying endoscopy taking into consideration advanced histology. We believe that we should try to reduce medical expenses using this promising diagnostic technique, because increased medical expenses are a common problem around the world. | |
