| [ Summary ] | We examined molecular alterations associated with laterally spreading tumors (LST). The mutation frequency of the KRAS gene was higher in granular type LSTs. Most of the mutations in the TP53 gene were detected in tumors with cancerous components. Most CIMP positive tumors were located in the right colon and had KRAS mutations. In addition, CIN was frequently observed in cancerous components. | |
