[ Summary ] The clinical usefulness of Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) endoscopy for pit pattern diagnosis of colorectal neoplasia, especially in regular pit pattern diagnosis is reviewed. The advantage of NBI magnification is to be able to achieve the diagnosis without chromoagents. Further detailed study and critical discussion are needed to establish a practical, widely recognized classification of NBI magnification findings for qualitative diagnosis of colorectal tumors.
