[ Summary ] ESD has come to be widely performed for treatment of colorectal neoplasias. However, the frequency of complications is high compared to polypectomy or EMR. In addition, high skill levels are required for this technique. Extended time is therefore necessary to for master these skills. Polypectomy and EMR are the main methods used for endoscopic resection of colorectal neoplasias. At this time, many kinds of snare for EMR of colorectal neoplasias are being marketed, for example rotatable snares, snare of hexagon. Therefore, physicians should select the most appropriate one, depending on the position, shape and size of the lesion to success EMR.
