[ Summary ] Endoscopic treatment for pedunculated polyps is mainly polypectomy. It is important to prevent arterial bleeding after resection because an artery often runs near the site. Resection in coagulation mode and using clips or detachable snares before resection enables the doctor to remove the lesion safety without bleeding. For large lesions that are difficult to snare, endoscopic submucosal resection (ESD) can safely and reliably remove the polyp. To remove the lesions without bleeding, it is necessary to recognize the characteristics and technique of endoscopic resection for large pedunculated polyps.
