[ Summary ] This is a review to update quality standards for CT colonography based on evidence and a focus on its recent developments, technological improvements, and future standardization. CT colonography is widely disseminated in Japan and increasingly provided by both subspecialists and general radiological technicians. There is an urgent need to develop standardization of CT colonography and certification for specialists. The authors hopes this article will provide a roadmap for physicians, radiologists, and radiological technicians.
