[ Summary ] Gastric cancer screening must necessarily include identification of individuals without Helicobacter pylori infection, who show a low risk of gastric cancer. These individuals show no histopathological features of gastritis, such as atrophy and neutrophilic and lymphocytic infiltration. Abdominal radiography shows no atrophic findings but predominantly thin and uniform folds in the gastric corpus. Endoscopic features include a regular arrangement of collecting venules at the angulus on the lesser curvature, as well as thin and straight folds along the greater curvature of the corpus.
