[ Summary ] |
Endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is a wellestablished technique for endoscopic resection of early gastric cancer. Several new technical endoscope modifications, accessories, and strategies have recently been developed in order to improve the technical feasibility and safety of ESD. Nevertheless, lesions may be encountered in locations that make ESD is very difficult. Hence, the clinician should make elaborate preparations to manage such cases. |
