[ Summary ] According to recent reports, the fetal environment before delivery, in addition to the mode of delivery and the neonatal environment, might affect the establishment of the fetal gut microbiota. This observation has attracted a great deal of attention. Gut dysbiosis in the neonatal period caused by various factors, has proved that dysbiosis can lead to the onset of lifestyle-related diseases and allergic diseases in adults. Therefore, improving the human gut microbiota might provide important clues regarding a new therapeutic target for diabetes.
