[ Summary ] |
In mass screening for gastric cancer, endoscopic examination may be introduced and effectively utilized ; however, it requires a large work force of doctors and is expensive. In addition, a system is required to ensure high precision. We detected 321 cases of gastric cancer in our center ; the incidence of early stomach cancer did not differ between the annual and biennial examinations ; however, the endoscope examination revealed a high incidence of possible intramucosal carcinoma in the annual examination. |
