| [ Summary ] | Colonoscopy (CS) is evident to reduce colorectal cancer (CRC)?related death. However, some polyps and adenomas are believed to be missed because of several reasons. Interval cancer may be partially related to missed adenomas ; therefore, improvinge adenoma miss rate during colonoscopy is crucial. To manage these problems, several solutions had been proposed ; reduction of the blind spot of the field of vision in endoscopy, improvement of the environments in the colonic lumen for examinations, and use of various image?enhanced endoscopy technologies to recognize colonic lesions more clearly and more evidently. Many equipment and devices are available for polyp detection in colonoscopy. A suitable period for surveillance may be another important factor. In this section, I will give an outline of the problem and management about adenoma miss rate in colonoscopy. | |
