[ Summary ] Recently, the number of reports on the efficacy and safety of propofol sedation for endoscopy has been increasing. Propofol has a very short half‒life and can be administered continuously. Therefore, stable and safe sedation during endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) can be achieved. Here, we show our practice of propofol sedation for ESD. Additionally, we discuss some problems that may occur during propofol sedation.
