[ Summary ] Along with the markedly increasing morbidity and mortality rates associated with colon cancer, the need for laparoscopic surgery and open surgery to treat colon cancer has also increased. Although capturing the entire operative field for procedures is difficult, preoperative CT colonography, laparoscopic surgery, preoperative vascular mapping surgery support, and assistance with diagnostic imaging information are all necessary before surgery. The invention described herein is designed to construct images. By changing volume rendering representation, the image display method may be constructed for particular virtual endoscopies, air images, or air images + blood vessel images. This type of preoperative information showing arteriovenous variations in the large intestine is useful for supporting safe, quick laparoscopic surgery.
