| [ Summary ] | Education provided in postgraduate courses by the Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) are summarized. It was necessary to publish textbooks, and conduct educational seminars, including participatory symposiums. Instruction concerning clinical research, presentation of research results, including manuscript submission was also made available. Internationalization of medical research is discussed as well. It is very important to educate young endoscopists concerning both research and the skills and knowledge necessary for daily practice. | |
