[ Summary ] |
Adenomyomatosis is histologically characterized by epithelial and smooth muscle proliferation with dilated RAS (Rokitansky-Aschoff sinuses). Clinically, adenomyomatosis is divided into three forms, i. e. fundal or localized type, segmental or annular type and generalized or diffuse type. Demonstrating dilated RAS is the key to precise diagnosis. |
