| [ Summary ] | Today, accidental perforations during endoscopic examination are very rare. On the other hand, the incidence of iatrogenic perforations during therapeutic endoscopy such as EMR or ESD has increased because of the increased application of these techniques. Diagnosis and treatment of endoscopically induced perforations due to upper GI endoscopy is summarized. | |
