| [ Summary ] | In recent years, a video cholangioscope was developed by Olympus Medical Systems Corp. We had the opportunity to evaluate this video cholangioscope. Video cholangioscopes make clear images of the bile duct wall and lesions in the bile duct possible. NBI (Narrow Band Imaging) technology may be implemented for PCS (peroral cholangioscopy) by using a video scope. This technique may not only be feasible but well tolerated for the diagnosis of bile duct lesions, providing better imaging of affected areas. | |
