[ Summary ] |
Gastric cancer is a multifactorial disease. Host factors and environmental factors are associated with gastric carcinogenesis. H. pylori infection and high-salt diets have been implicated in gastric carcinogenesis on the basis of various epidemiological studies. H. pylori infection promoted gastric carcinomas more than a high-salt diet. A high-salt diet enhanced the effects of H. pylori infection in relation to gastric carcinogenesis. |
