[ Summary ] Dietary intake and quality of life (QOL) for patients with liver cirrhosis (LC) are elucidated. The QOL in patients with LC was lower than that of control subjects. The QOL for cirrhotic patients with low dietary intake was lower than that of cirrhotic patients with adequate dietary intake. Adequate dietary intake plays a key role in maintaining QOL for patients with LC.
