| [ Summary ] | H. pylori-negative gastric cancer should be devided into two groups ; gastric cancer without gastritis and gastric cancer with gastritis not derived from H. pylori infection. The causes of gastric cancer without gastritis are mainly related to genetic factors. However, to clarify it as being gastric cancer is more difficult compared to colon cancer, depending on the heterogeneity of the cancer. On the other hand, the causes of H. pylori-negative gastritis are EB virus, type A gastritis, bile acid, or other factors. It is very difficult to differentiate the overlap H. pylori infection or other causative factors. | |
