[ Summary ] The diagnosis of superficial Barrett's esophageal cancer has been difficult. Therefore, random biopsies have been recommended for the surveillance of Barrett's esophageal dysplasia in western countries.
Magnifying endoscopy can be used to observe micro vascular patterns and pit patterns of associated lesions. And the characteristic vascular and pit patterns associated with superficial Barrett's esophageal cancer has been finding.
In this paper, the authors exhibited many endoscopic views of superficial Barrett's esophageal cancer and showed the effectiveness of magnified endoscopy for the surveillance of superficial Barrett's esophageal cancer.
