| [ Summary ] | Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) has become a relatively common means of providing enteral nutrition, however, a number of post-PEG placement complications have increased. It is important to understand various feature of the methods and equipment used, as well as the underlying diseases of the patients. PEG is one of the most useful procedures to improve QOL for patients who require enteral nutrition. The characteristics of the post-procedural complications and their management should be thoroughly considered. | |
