[ Summary ] |
We introduced the latest endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR) techniques for colorectal tumors. Several devices (new snare, injection fluid, etc. ) have made it easier to resect colorectal lesions with en bloc EMR, with endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD). We also assessed the methods (endoscopic piecemeal mucosal resection ; EPMR and magnifying endoscopy) to prevent local tumor recurrence after EMR and reduce complications, such as bleeding, and perforations. |
