[ Summary ] Functional food is a food product that has been enhanced with vitamins or medicines to provide specific health benefits. While eating habits have become diversified, the number of those who complain of bad physical conditions has increased, due to disorders in their life styles. To curtail national medical expenditures, a fixed amount medical payment system was introduced. From the present on, there is a necessity for independent medical supplies due to changing the times. Training must be done so people who can choose the right information by themselves from the vast pool of information available.
