[ Summary ] | Laparoscopic surgery for pancreatic disease has not been performed more frequently than other abdominal surgery up to this time in Japan. One reason is that the anatomy of the pancreas is relatively complicated and very skillful surgical performance is required for this surgery. In this chapter, we described the current status of laparoscopic surgery for pancreatic disease as shown our experience There were; 1) Cystojejunostomy for pseudocysts after acute pancreatitis; 2) Enucleation of pancreatic tumors and; 3) Distal pancreatectomy for pancreatic tumors. |
