[ Summary ] Symptoms and radiological findings of pancreaticobiliary maljunction in children was summarized. Abdominal pain is the most common symptom, and was seen in 112 out of 141 cases (79%). 53 out of 115 patients (46%) had hyperamylasemia. Reading the ERCP film in detail allowed us to be able to distinguish the inferior part of common channel, which is surrouded by the sphincter of Oddi, from the superior part of common channel, which is not affected by the sphincter of Oddi. It is most important to prove that the junction of the pancreatic and bile duct is at the liver side, away from the notch. Although MRCP can produce similar findings, it is inferior to ERCP in terms of accuracy. Additionaly, examinations of the dilated bile duct or the wall thickning of the gall bladder with US examinations is important to produce findings which may suggest pancreaticobiliary maljunction.
