[ Summary ] Adverse side effects, associated with eradication therapy for Helicobacter pylori arise from the normal actions of individual drug and from interactions with drugs used for other diseases. Diarrhea, taste disturbances and liver dysfunction are the main problems. Sever events, such as anapylaxic shock are rare, and non-specific to eradication therapy. Use of some drugs, such as probiotics and the criteria for ceassation of medication should be considered, in order to reduce these events.
