| [ Summary ] | We assessed the characteristics of the EC-450 ZH magnifying videocolonoscope, manufactured by the Fujinon corporation. The EC-450 ZH is an electronic optical magnifying videocolonoscope, which has a high level CCD with 410,000 pixel capability. We have been using this scope as routine scope, for almost same functions of conventional operation and insertion as ordinary videocolonoscopes. Magnifying observation, using this scope (from X 17 to X 100) can be done with a one-touch operation of the knob on the left hand controlling element. It is very easy and convenient for clinical use in routine colonoscopic observations. | |
