[ Summary ] Although the incidence of duodenal diverticula is high, associated complication are rare. We described some of the complications. Hemorrhaging and perforations are emergency conditions which are difficult to diagnose.
If treatment using endoscopy, laparoscopy or interventional radiology is not successful, operative procedures are performed. It is important to identify the pancreatic and common bile ducts prior to resection to avoid inadvertent injury.
